Been a Long Time Coming

My very first entry of 2006, how exciting.

Nothing much different has hapenned this year. Our New Year's was extremely quiet as from nine o'clock on no one was here. Well, I mean, company. Lisa was downtown with her boyfriend and some friends so it was just my mom dad and I. Lisa went back to school on the third. Daisy and her mom, me and my mom went to see the Family Stone on Friday. First, we went to Olive Garden and I had fetticini alfredo. MMMMMM MMMMMM. To full for popcorn at the movie but that's okay. It was SUCH a goooood movie. Everyone should SERIOUSLY see it!! I can't wait for it to come out. I finished reading all the Harry Potter books, which is good because otherwise none of my homework would get done this semester. hehe.

I am thoroughly enjoying being able to see Skittles everyday. She is so much fun. I wish I had as much energy as she did. Ohh to have the live of a cat in a nice home. Run around and attack things, tire yourself out, give yourself a nice bath, and curl up in one of your pet humans laps. With some mischief in there too. Like jumping on the counter and then getting a bath in the sink as punishment. Anyways, yes I like being able to spend time with her and I think she's glad to have someone here to keep her company during the day. Pretty soon though I'll be in West Virginia and then I'll be back to school. The plan is to go to WV with my mom on Wednesday and come back on Sunday with Kate. My mom and I will probably work on Great Aunt Helen and Great Aunt Ginny's house. We have to clean EVERYTHING out as they have moved into a nursing home. They found a book of Rocks and minerals from 1957 and they gave it to me. I'm excited for going down there too. I'm hoping that we'll be able to spend some time with Marilyn and Sarah as well. I just hope I can get everything done before I have to go back to school on Monday. This break has been wonderful and refreshing but I have a feeling it's going to be absolutely CRAZY on Sunday night and Monday morning and when I get back to school. I really am ready to go back to school, but on the same token I'm also really not. haha.

As Dr. Becker says, "there's only one reason to run and that's if you're being chased or if you're on fire, everything else is pointless."
