A Gift From Jacq
2 years out of 7 completed. Although I must say although this one had a story...it seems kind of stuck in the middle of the main story...not that I've read the others yet, so I can't know, but it seems to be a repeat of last year and and nothing new is learned for upcoming books. I wonder if at the beginning JK considered ending it here as loose ends from the book are tied up and nothing new is introduced...it's an interesting thought, but one I'll never know the answer to. This time it was a gift from my roomate Jacq, I was sleeping the day away yesterday not feeling well and she woke me up to give it to me. I yawned stretched like a cat, felt warm inside at the nice gesture and rolled over and went back to sleep. She's so sweet, even if her intentions were slightly so she could talk about them with me. She's already told me she can't wait for me to go through next year, it's her favorite. :)
This post has another purpose, not only to tell you I have been through the second year (ps I say it like this because in books, well good ones, you feel like you are there...an outsider, but experiencing it there none the less, and I have read year's one and two so I've completed it that way too.) but to also tell you that I found myself someplace last night I never thought I would be. A club. Called Parliment House. A "gay" club. My friend was doing drag and wanted me to come see him. The show was actually a lot of fun and the stage they did it on was in a room that was non-smoking. yay! Even clubs have smoke free areas...there is hope!! haha. But anyway, yeah, it was a lot of fun! Now, the club itself...... well I dunno after the show there was people and smoke everywhere...and before the show in the club men in their underwear liked to walk around... *looks weary* yeah, wasn't too keen on that one... but whatcha gonna do? I still don't understand why people find clubs so fun though or how they can go out week after week, especially the underagers as they're wristbanned with a different color so it can't be the alcohol they're addicted to. *shakes head in puzzlement* Then again, many people like meeting people there, but seeing as that's not the place I'd like to meet people I don't have fun with the people. *laughs* *shakes head and re-reads the confusing sentance still not understanding what she said*
Also, naturefreak goes public today :) (Meaning this site)
